The muses that inspired me to write have always danced nearby. Yet, as of late, I have learned the limits of what they will abide. They've always spun to the songs of love . . . more
About Me
-
People say I'm:
-
Describe Yourself:Christian (who is striving to be a better one); A "Good Ole Boy" (who wants to help change the negative perceptions that some may have about "Good Ole Boys."): Father (who wants to be a better one) to a teenage son: Husband (who wants to be a better one) to an Italian/Irish Hot Pepper; Step-Father to two very lovely young women...Father-in-law to their husbands..."Pops" (grandfather...who wants to be a better one,) to their children.
I love people, but I'm not crazy about crowds. I love nature and enjoy camping, fishing and hunting. I am the son of a son of a poor Louisiana sharecropper. I enjoy many creative pursuits like writing, painting, drawing, jewelry-making, photography, and woodworking.
In my younger days, I suppose I would describe myself as a Dreamer and an undeveloped Bohemian who desireed to live in the French Quarter of New Orleans as a starving artist and poet. There remains, these days, remnants of the above, but reality has made less room for the pursuit of young dreams. The Bohemian "wannabe" has now been life-worn into a simple lover of coffee shops and book stores that posess just the right "ambiance."
I can wander around the sea's edge, old vintage hardware stores and old farm sheds for the simple treasures that can always found in such places...pieces of wonder to me, yet, of little signifcance to most others in my current circle of friends and family... -

Hi Robb:
Sorry to hear that your current view of the world is so bleak (or is that black ;-)
Hope things look brighter soon.
